Weasel Manizo Summoned by Police Over Alleged Stabbing | Video
Ugandan singer Weasel Manizo has been summoned by police following allegations that he stabbed a man identified as Sammy Amanya. The incident reportedly took place on January 19, 2026, at Weasel’s home in Kampala.
According to Sammy, he had gone to the singer’s residence to spray bedbugs when Weasel and his partner returned from a night out. Sammy claims he had borrowed Weasel’s cross bag to carry his phone during the cleaning, which angered the couple.
While in the bathroom, he alleges that Weasel attacked him, stabbing him in the stomach with knuckles. Sammy says he lost consciousness and was rushed to a clinic before being transferred to Nsambya Hospital, where doctors removed his spleen and treated damage to his small intestine.

“Weasel himself put me on boda to Nsambya, and they operated me. I was unconscious and didn’t know. The doctors wrote that I had a trauma on my abdomen caused by a road traffic accident, which was not true, but because he had told them,” he said.
He further claims that Weasel’s family asked him not to go public with the matter, promising financial support that later stopped. Sandra Teta, Weasel’s partner, has denied the accusations, insisting that Sammy was attempting to extort money from them. She shared evidence of money transfers to him and dismissed his account as inconsistent.

“He is very okay, but he has turned us into a business. I want him to show you all the proof of what he is saying. He should come and show us the knuckles he is saying. He is twisting his story,” Sandra Teta said.
