Napak Father Michael Otyang Burns Three Children Alive, Now on the Run
Karamoja police are actively looking for Michael Otyang a father in Napak District, he is accused of killing his three children in a horrifying arson attack. The event took place in Lorengechora Sub-county’s Lokeru Village.
According to reports, Otyang trapped his kids inside a grass-thatched house and burned it down. According to eyewitnesses, he and his wife got into a furious altercation. She allegedly chastised him for drinking too much and ignoring his family’s needs.
Otyang was furious and attacked her first. The children, Joan Nakodio (1), Emmanuel Lokong (3), and Janet Nadoli (10), were then compelled to enter the house by him. He locked the door behind him and lit the fire. The three died in the fire.
The terrible act was confirmed by IP Mike Longole, the spokesperson for the Karamoja Regional Police. Also, to apprehend the suspect, authorities follow up on strong leads.
Longole furthermore asked anyone with information about Otyang’s whereabouts to share it. “We actively pursue the suspect and have leads,” he said. “Anyone with information should get in touch with the police right away.”
