Irene Ntale Opens Up About Recent Fibroid Surgery
Irene Ntale just shared a personal health update with fans stating she recently underwent surgery to remove fibroids. Fibroids are noncancerous growths which form in or around the uterus. They can cause several health complications for women.
Ntale opened up after seeing a social media post where an influencer had shared her own experience with fibroids. That post prompted Ntale to share her story too. She revealed she had an open abdominal myomectomy. Doctors used a vertical incision for the procedure and the surgery took place in June, and surgeons removed 30 fibroids in total.
The Nkubukinze singer gave fans a clear update on her progress. The surgery happened right here in Uganda. She confirmed she’s healing well and has slowly returned to work.
“4 weeks 4days post op! 30removed! Vertical incision! Healing very well. The first week was hell! The gas pains after surgery! But after that everything starts to slowly feel normal again. Did my surgery in Uganda,” she wrote.
That first week clearly tested her patience. Post-surgery gas pains hit hard, she admitted, but things gradually improved after that rough stretch. Her openness sparked plenty of reactions online as many fans linked her condition to her delayed childbirth while others simply praised her for speaking so candidly about it.
Health conversations like this remain rare among public figures. Many celebrities keep medical struggles private however, Irene Ntale chose transparency instead, and that choice resonated with many followers. Her update also sheds light on fibroids generally.
