They questioned the President on key national topics after his January reelection. The conversation drew massive attention across Uganda. Many praised the open format and direct engagement.

Reports now claim Kasuku received over UGX 50 million in this Jazz with Jajja event. Sources describe the sum as a token of appreciation for his moderation role and panelist duties. The figure remains unconfirmed by Kasuku or State House officials.

Kasuku’s Earlier Financial Appeal to Museveni

Back in January, Kasuku openly asked President Museveni for help. He highlighted personal financial struggles during the campaign period. Museveni promised to address concerns from content creators once elections ended. Supporters saw the Kisozi event as a follow-up opportunity.
