Biggie Events Pledges to Clear All Debts Soon
Events promoter Mariam Mutakubwa, widely known as Biggie Events, pledges to settling her debts. She speaks firmly at a recent interview. Access to additional funds motivates her optimism.
The Promoters SACCO received Shs 10 billion from the Ministry of Finance. This support aims to help event organizers conduct enterprises smoothly. Mutakubwa anticipates her share shortly. Once the money arrives, she plans to pay every creditor in full.
Biggie Events previously faced considerable legal pressure. She borrowed Shs 70 million from businessman David Tumusiime Amooti. The loan funded a concert for renowned singer Lord Fred Sebatta. When repayment stalled, she risked a six-month jail term last year.
“I’m yet to clear the debt,” she acknowledges honestly. “But the President gave us money through the Promoters SACCO. Once I obtain it, I will clear everyone.” She pledges to resolve all problems swiftly.
Gratitude to Key Supporters
Mutakubwa acknowledges those who stood with her throughout challenging times. She highlights Abbey Musinguzi, known as Mr. Abtex, for his important aid. His efforts earned her release from custody.
On politics, she addresses her sister’s recent election challenge. The 2026 general elections lawsuit drags in court over suspected irregularities. Mutakubwa keeps clear of such goals. “I am not a politician,” she asserts clearly. She concentrates completely on her events business.
