Mesach Semakula Reveals What He Really Considers Wealth

Veteran musician Mesach Semakula has opened up about what he sees as true wealth. During a recent interview, he explained that his real treasures aren’t necessarily material things. He said he only shares publicly what he considers genuinely meaningful, keeping everything else private.

Growing older, he added, is something he celebrates rather than hides. Semakula is approaching fifty years old and treats that milestone as valuable. He said he makes sure to share that fact openly with everyone.  He also described his children as one of his greatest treasures.

While they were young, he kept them away from public attention entirely. Now that they’re older, he introduces them proudly to his audience.  He believes this visibility can open doors for them professionally. People who recognize them as his children, he said, may offer guidance or support.

His family, he added, is another asset he never hesitates to display. He explained that he simply chooses to highlight what genuinely matters to him. Everything he considers less valuable, he leaves out of public conversation entirely. When asked about land, houses, and business investments, his answer surprised many listeners.

He said he doesn’t place the same weight on those possessions. According to Mesach Semakula, physical wealth is temporary and can vanish without warning. Life and family, he argued, are the blessings that truly last. Material things you own today, he noted, might disappear within a few short years.
