Lil Pazzo Steps Up as Peacemaker in the Ziza Bafana vs Eddy Kenzo Fallout

Not everyone in Uganda’s music scene is choosing a side in the Ziza Bafana and Eddy Kenzo saga. Some are choosing something harder, the middle ground. Lil Pazzo is one of them, wants Ziza Bafana and Eddy Kenzo to make peace.

During a recent TikTok live session that quickly caught people’s attention, the Ugandan artist did something refreshingly rare in the middle of a public spat: he called for calm, and then volunteered himself to help make peace happen.

“I Would Probably Do the Same”But There’s a But

What made Lil Pazzo’s message land differently wasn’t just what he said; it was how he said it. He didn’t dismiss Ziza Bafana’s frustration or pretend the tensions weren’t real. Lil Pazo sat with it, he openly admitted that if he were in Bafana’s shoes, he’d probably be venting too. That kind of honesty tends to cut through the noise.

But; and this is where he drew the line, he argued that letting social media and outside voices pour fuel on an already burning fire helps nobody. Least of all the musicians themselves. “We should not allow social media and external pressure to divide us,” he said. “I am ready to work towards bringing harmony between them.”

What Started All This?

For those just catching up, the bad blood between Ziza Bafana and Eddy Kenzo has been simmering for weeks now. At the centre of it all are allegations tied to the handling of UNMF Sacco funds, money meant to support Uganda’s music community.

It’s the kind of dispute that stings twice: once because of the personal fallout between two prominent figures, and again because it involves resources that were supposed to benefit artists collectively.

Why Lil Pazzo Move Actually Matters in Ziza Bafana and Eddy Kenzo feud

Mediators don’t make headlines the way feuds do. But in an industry where beefs tend to outlast albums, someone willing to stand in the gap is worth paying attention to.

Whether Bafana and Kenzo are ready to sit at the table is another story entirely. But at least someone is pulling out the chairs.
