Kapere Lufotose Blasts Comedians for Sidelining Him
In Uganda’s comedy scene, comedian Yokana Mbuuse, best known by his stage name Kapere Lufotose, provokes intense discussion after publicly accuses his fellow comedians of purposefully ignoring him in the workplace. In an open interview, Kapere shows his intense annoyance.
When it comes to scheduling paid appearances, he says other comedians overlook him. Performers are able to make a consistent income because to these engagements. The head of the Uganda Comedians Federation, Alex Muhangi, is specifically called out by Kapere.
